I teased with pictures of a project and said I would share the finished project once the tiny human it was destined for had arrived. 🙂
Well arrived he has; the tiny human in question is my nephew Elijah 🙂
I saw photos of a crocheted sleeping bag and hat that looked like the hungry caterpillar months and months ago. Very much inspired by the photos I set about crocheting my own version.
I didn’t use a pattern and I’m really pleased with how it turned out. I wonder whether I could make an adult sized one 🙂
I made two hats as I have no clue about the size of babies heads. It’s nice tho as Elijah now has one to grow into 🙂
So I’m working on a new blanket. I’m using a similar colour scheme to the one I made for the back of my sofa (because it’s going to go on the back of the other sofa).
However, this time I’ve decided to make it out of nine granny squares rather than one large one. I’m also being all geeky and matching the numbers of rows of each color to the Fibonacci sequence, so 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13.
I wanna share I really do! Here’s another photo (suitably cryptic) of my latest project. It’s based on something I saw on Pinterest. Looked straight forward enough to make without a pattern.
I’m pretty much finished now just waiting on baby to make an appearance. C’mon! [Impatiently taps foot] 🙂
